New Barcelona coach Hansi Flick praises youngsters including new sensation Lamine Yamal at official Nou Camp presentation [Video]

HANSI Flick was officially presented as Barcelona coach on Thursday at a news conference alongside Barca president, Joan Laporta.

The former Germany and Bayern Munich manager signed up with the La Liga side two months ago.

Flick has only had two weeks to train with some of his squad, as the players that participated in Euro 2024 and the Copa America have some time off.

Others, like 17-year-old centre back Pau Cubarsí, are playing at the Paris Olympics.

“I am very happy with the first few weeks and we have a lot of wonderful young players.”

“We have to create this atmosphere for the players, to be able to develop them and take them to a higher stage in their career- and that’s what I’m going to focus on.”
