LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Elizabethtown is expecting more growth with the nearby Blue Oval SK battery plant, so police officers are gearing up to meet the booming population.

The design process is already in the works.
City leaders said construction should start at the beginning of next year.
The department is also hiring new officers to keep up with the growth of the community.
