Tuesday’s event brought Rusty Wallace and Kenny Wallace to Claiborne High School for a question-and-answer session.

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Tenn. — The Boys and Girls Clubs of Claiborne County hosted an event for the community on Tuesday, bringing out two racing legends to speak with the community about their ties to the area and their careers.

The nonprofit brought Rusty Wallace and Kenny Wallace to Claiborne High School for a question-and-answer session hosted by Jerry Punch. During the event, people had a chance to learn about the Wallaces’ experiences on the race track and behind the wheel of racecars.

Kenny retired from NASCAR in 2015 while Rusty retired from NASCAR in 2005. The event was presented by the Rusty Wallace Automotive Group, and proceeds went to benefit the Claiborne County Boys and Girls Clubs.

The event went from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Individual tickets cost $100.
