JOPLIN, Mo. — It’s citywide high-speed internet in Joplin – a project worth tens of millions

“We’re expecting to start right after Labor Day,” said Brad Moline, Allo Comm. president.

Covering the entire space inside city limits will cost the company at least 60 million dollars.

“The first thing is communicating construction. We’re going to be in your backyard. We’re going to be in your neighborhood so people can plan so people aren’t going hey, who are these people? We send postcards. We have people wearing our shirts, they’re our employees working you know, to to answer questions,” said Moline.

Allo provides a fiber connection to the internet, as well as TV and phone services…

“We started 500 meg we have a gig and then we have a two-plus gig service. There are different price points,” said Moline.
