2 men, juvenile killed in overnight Pa. Turnpike crash [Video]

An early-morning Saturday crash on I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) in Penn Township killed two men and a juvenile girl, according to Pennsylvania State Police and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.

Pennsylvania State Police were sent to mile marker 268.8 at 4:24 a.m. for a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car. The coroner’s office responded to the same area around 5:35 a.m., according to a press release.

The tractor-trailer and car, which was heavily damaged, were found on the side of the highway, the coroner’s office said. A 43-year-old man, 18-year-old man and juvenile girl in the car were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner’s office.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, State Police said.
