A WALMART customer has been left fuming over a negative experience they blame on a policy change.
They blasted the retail giant for the recent update that directly affects those attempting to use the self-service area.
Walmart recently began testing a 15-item or less limit rule at select locations for self-checkout kiosks to improve efficiency and reduce loss of inventory due to mis-scanned or stolen items.
The move mirrors a decision from Target after it started testing a 10-item limit at what is now its “Express Self-Checkout” lanes last fall.
Earlier this spring, Target confirmed that the tests were successful and it would be introducing the item limit at its 1,963 stores in the United States this year.
Several customers were not happy with Target’s choice.
