We have been tracking isolated morning storms, and more storms are expected to develop later. Storms that develop today will have frequent lightning and very heavy rain. The Weather Prediction Center has our area in a marginal risk for excessive rainfall, meaning any of the storms that develop could cause nuisance flooding. These storms will linger into the evening hours, with more developing overnight.
