Registration open for Huntsville’s Civic Engagement Academy 2024 [Video]

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — People who want to learn more about city government and its role within the Huntsville community should apply now for the Civic Engagement Academy’s (CEA) fall 2024 session.

Presented by the City’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI), the CEA is a free, six-week program that aims to empower and educate individuals on community involvement. The program combines both classroom and interactive instruction, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of civic engagement.

“The Civic Engagement Academy is more than a program; it’s a gateway to fostering positive community impact,” said Kenny Anderson, Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. “We encourage all eligible individuals who share our commitment to community involvement to apply and embark on this transformative journey with us.”
