President Joe Biden speaks on violence against Trump; No place in America for this [Video]

President Joe Biden was briefed on the shooting at former President Donald Trump’s rally and released a statement Saturday evening condemning what occurred. He later made remarks to the media on live television.

“There’s no place in America for this type of violence,” President Joe Biden, who is running against Trump as the presumptive Democratic nominee, said in remarks. “It’s sick. It’s sick.”

The White House said Biden received an updated briefing from Kimberly Cheatle, the director of the United States Secretary Service, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and White House homeland security adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall.

I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.

I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information.
