22-Year-Old Woman with Learner’s Permit Crashes into Restaurant [Video]

What started as a test drive with a new driver turned into major damage to a restaurant in Indianapolis earlier this week when authorities say the motorist apparently “lost control” of the vehicle.

On Wednesday, July 10, at 12:03 p.m. local time, a 22-year-old woman who had a learner’s permit crashed into the El Paseo Catracho restaurant, causing “significant structural damage to the building,” the Indianapolis Fire Department said on social media.

The unidentified driver told firefighters that she was “test driving a dealership car with a licensed passenger accompanying her” and she then made a right turn “and lost control before hitting the building,” the Indianapolis Fire Department wrote in an additional post.
