Minnesota State Fair job fair set for July 24 [Video]

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minnesota — People are what make the Great Minnesota Get Together happen, and the fair is hiring thousands of workers. 

The Minnesota State Fair hires about 3,000 people throughout the summer to work in various departments for the 12-day event. Jobs include ticket sellers, ticket takers, parking and park & ride attendants, rides & games ticket takers, barn attendants, custodians and more, according to a press release.

Perks include free admission to the fair which goes from Aug. 22 through Sept. 2. 

If you’re interested in applying, people are encouraged to go to the Employment Center. There is also a job fair taking place at the North End Event Center on Wed. July 24, from 4 to 7 p.m.
