Texas Veterans Commission expands assistance program for Concho Valley Veterans [Video]

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Texas Veterans Commission, in partnership with the Concho Valley Community Action Agency (CVCAA), is offering expanded funding assistance for veterans, surviving spouses, and some active duty members in the Concho Valley.

The program supports home mortgage and rent payments of up to $6,000, utility payments, and up to three months of car insurance.

Sidney Timmer, CVCAA Outreach and Marketing Director, stated, “This new program ensures that disabled veterans will have ADA-accessible homes and addresses critical repairs to make homes weather-resistant.”

Additionally, Timmer added that fixing holes in floors, walls, or roofs, which wasn’t available before the funding assistance will also be available.
