Podcast-Focused Commenting Features : spotify 5 [Video]

Spotify will enhance its platform with a new feature allowing listeners to comment on podcasts. This development follows the company’s existing interactive tools, such as polls and Q&A sessions, to foster greater engagement between podcast creators and their audiences.

The introduction of comments contributes to Spotify’s goal of making podcasts a more interactive and community-driven medium. Listeners can share their thoughts, feedback, and reactions directly on podcast episodes, creating a richer dialogue around the content.

Comments will be private by default, which means that creators will have the control to review and approve each comment before it appears publicly. Creators can enable comments for their entire podcast series or select specific episodes for interaction. For those who prefer not to have comments, there is an option to disable the feature entirely.

Comment management will be accessible via the Spotify for Podcasters web app starting July 9.
