The new owners of the Country Club Plaza spoke to the public for the first time on Monday.They promised significant and swift improvements to the historic Kansas City destination. The Texas-based Highland Park Village Associates officially bought the shopping district last Friday. The owners unveiled an ambitious vision for the Plaza during a press conference on Monday at 10 a.m. Local food and beverage, increased security, and significant infrastructure improvements were all promised during the introductory presser.
