Dining with the Departed Draws Crowds – Erie News Now [Video]

The Erie Cemetery hosted its first Dining with the Departed fundraiser to help raise money to keep Erie’s oldest cemetery in beautiful condition.

The Erie Cemetery has been in existence since 1850. The money will help with preservation and beautification.

There were drinks, food, and also music. They got a large turnout, and they were hoping it would be the the first of many events.

They had re-enactors of historical figures from here in Erie.

Marketing Specialist, Becky Weiser said the event serves an important cause impacting the history of the area.
