Studio 10 has really enjoyed spending time in the City of Semmes for our live “On the Road” show!

One of the city’s biggest ambassadors is Mayor Brandon Van Hook. The mayor spoke with us about why Semmes is such a great place to live and work.

The mayor says the city recently rebranded with the motto “Make Life Beautiful”. He says, whether you live here, play here, or visit here, they want you to have a beautiful experience in this community.

Mayor Van Hook says their focus is on three basics: economic development, infrastructure, and public safety. The mayor says in the last three years, they started the first police department in Semmes, and have invested a great deal of money in public safety.
