BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — For some children, going to the Boys and Girls Club means a hot meal and a safe environment. For other children in Bakersfield, those things can be hard to come by.

Summer vacation will be one to remember for children attending the Boys and Girls club.

From e-sports to other team-building exercises, kids are constantly entertained. They have several programs to teach extracurriculars, like how to make healthy meals.

More importantly, kids are safe, and staying out of trouble.
