Mott Park Recreation hosts 3rd annual Mott Fest | Local [Video]

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – The Mott Park Recreation Association hosted its third annual Mott Festival on Saturday.

The event took place at the newly renovated Mott Park Clubhouse on Nolan Drive in Flint.

The event is meant to celebrate community life in the revitalized neighborhood of Mott Park.

“It is about community and continuing to keep this space as an attractive green space for people to come out and enjoy,” says the President of the Mott Park Recreation Area Board, Tom Saxton. “Hopefully, folks that haven’t been here before get introduced to this area and will hopefully come out and recreate here in the years ahead.”

Festivities included live music, games, sports activities for the kids, craft booths, food trucks and a beer garden.
