Kevin Costner confirms he is done with Yellowstone [Video]

(CNN) – Actor Kevin Costner confirmed that he will not be returning to the hit series “Yellowstone.”

Costner will not be participating in the second half of season five, which is currently being shot in Montana.

He made the announcement Thursday in a video posted to social media.

“I loved it, and I know you loved it, and I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be returning,” Costner said in the video, in part. “I love the relationship we’ve been able to develop, and I’ll see you at the movies.”

Costner said he will focus on other movies including “Horizon,” the four-part Western movie series he has produced, co-written, directed, and will star in.

Costner has produced the first two parts of “Horizon,” which he financed out of his own pocket.
