Concerts in the Park coming to Ashland | Community [Video]

ASHLAND, Ore. — The summer series “Concerts in the Park” event is returning to Ashland — starting tomorrow evening. 

According to a news release from the City of Ashland, free concerts will be held every Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the Lithia Park Butler Memorial Bandshell on Winburn Way. The first show will be June 20 and the event will run until Aug. 15. 

“Each week, a variety of pre-concert entertainment groups will delight audiences starting at 6:15 p.m. before the main band performance at 7 p.m.,” the City of Ashland wrote in the release. “Bring a picnic dinner, a comfy chair or blanket, and enjoy an evening of music under the stars with family and friends. These concerts are the perfect way to relax, mingle with your community and enjoy the beautiful summer evenings.” 

Below are special concerts planned this summer: 

• Patriotic Concert on July 4 at noon 
• American Band College Concert on June 26 at 6:30 p.m. (free)
