Set amid the mountains of Shenzhen, the Lanxi Tangquan Bubble Pool Hotel by GS DESIGN takes on a minimalist and experimental modern architecture that opens up to the landscape and sky. The resort is defined by a central courtyard with a circular pool that breaks up the geometric silhouette of the building — creating a collision between the water’s dark depth and the purity of the white design. ‘The travellers who banish the body and mind, the children who play, all constitute the notes of this leisurely rhythm, and the flowing scale of light silently records all these changes,’ share the project architects.
