CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – For Labor Day, some folks remembered those who put their lives on the line for all. A nationally recognized mobile 9/11 exhibit arrived at the California 9/11 Memorial in Clovis and will be in town for a couple of days.
The Tunnels for Towers Foundation was established to help educate and support families affected by 9/11. One way they do that is with an 83-foot tractor-trailer that turns into a museum.
“They are coming here to obviously open the exhibit for our community, which is great. And they also have first responders that actually are on the exhibit that explain the facts of 9/11 and explain the artifacts that are on the mobile exhibit,” California 9/11 Board President Julie DeBenedetto said.
Artifacts from ground zero and audio from 9/11 dispatch will be available for folks to see and hear. But those might not be as big a draw …
