6th annual college fair to be hosted by Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) will host their sixth annual college fair. Almost 80 colleges, universities, military recruiters and others will be attending the annual event.

KCKPS juniors and seniors will have an opportunity to speak with admission representatives and recruiters. Financial assistance and information will be provided for students.

“I hope that our students leave with a little more knowledge and confidence in their post-secondary planning process. I hope they engage with the schools on their lists, and they experience some new options available to them,” said Assistant Director of Diploma+ Lisa Martinez.

KCKPS is the largest school district in Wyandotte County and the fifth largest in Kansas.

“Students can expect a welcoming and engaging atmosphere,” added Martinez.

The college fair will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Homefield KCK Showcase Center.
