DMG Media Ireland has selected 40 brilliant young minds in the Irish advertising industry as part of the 40 Under 40 series.

Leah Hughes – business director, Zenith

Hughes started her career with MediaCom in 2015 working across a number of global portfolio accounts including Coca-Cola, Volkswagen and Boots.

In 2019, she moved to PHD, rejoining the Auto category to work on Audi and Government Departments before moving to the Diageo team in 2020 as account director on Guinness, Rockshore and Hop House 13.

During this time, she led the Guinness Gogglebox Christmas campaign and Women’s Six Nations #NEVERSETTLE campaign, both of which were awarded on local and international stages.

Following a successful award season for her clients, Hughes was then awarded Rising Star at the 2022 Media Awards.

In 2023, she moved to Zenith, part of Core as business director where she has taken a leadership role in the commercial side of the business while also focusing on improved planning processes …
