NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – The 33rd annual Cycle-Smart Northampton Cyclocross race began on Saturday at Look Park.
The two day event is one of the oldest races of its kind in the country, featuring entertainment for spectators, food trucks, beer gardens, and plenty of vantage points to the racing.
We spoke with Ellen Noble, the event’s marketing and expo coordinator, who told us while the race may have changed over time, the core values have stayed the same.
“The event has changed with the landscape of the sport but honestly, it’s always been just super dedicated to family fun and super high quality racing.”
She also explained what sets Cyclocross apart from other sports.
