Classic car enthusiasts gathered outside of Sloan Museum of Discovery for the annual event.
FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – Classic car enthusiasts gathered outside the Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint on Sunday.
It was all for the 30th annual Golden Memories Car Show.
It was a non-competitive car show so there was no judging, just a relaxing day for car buffs to enjoy showing off their rides and looking at other restored cars.
The car show was exclusively for original or authentically restored cars produced in 1974 or earlier.
“The neat thing about this car show is that it’s for cars 50 years or older and it’s for non-modified cars,” said participant and owner of a 1908 Buick Matt Assenmacher. “So most of the cars you see here today look pretty much the way they did in their prime when they were originally built so that’s a real special thing …
