ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque police Department and the nonprofit Cops for Kids are teaming up to hold the 30th annual Cops for Kids event on Sunday, December 8.

Cops for Kids serves underprivileged kids in the community and the event promotes collaborations between law enforcement and the community. 80 – 100 kids will be selected to participate, referrals for consideration come from APS, social services and law enforcement. Children are picked based on household income and available funding. Any donations help sponsor kids for the event, donations are tax deductible. One of the things they do for the kids to Main Event to bowl, play games, eat food and more.
