NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – In Northampton, the Paradise City Arts Festival began on Saturday, lasting until Monday.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the event, which features over 220 artists and makers from across the country.
Maria Swanson, the director of sales and marketing for the event, said that they have events for people of al ages, including demonstrations, live music, local food, and hands-on art activities.
“Well, each and every artist brings their own point of view and is juried at such an exceptional caliber. My favorite show is a special exhibit, which is our group show. This theme is on fables and folklore and that is in building two, so you will be able to see a sampling on all the different diversity we have here,” she said.
The event will continue through Monday with tickets available both online and at the gate.
Children under 12 are allowed to enter for free.
