The three injured people — two 19-year-olds and an 18-year-old — were in a sedan that collided with a pickup truck early Tuesday evening.
TOLEDO, Ohio — Three people were hospitalized with serious injuries early Tuesday evening after two vehicles collided head-on in central Toledo, police said in a press release.
According to Toledo, a 19-year-old was driving a sedan southbound on Detroit Avenue toward Dorr Street just before 6 p.m. with a 19-year-old and 18-year-old passenger. A 70-year-old was driving a pickup truck northbound on Detroit toward Dorr when the two vehicles collided.
The sedan driver and two passengers were injured. The press release does not say the pickup truck driver was injured.
“Intoxication was potentially a factor in this crash,” according to Toledo police.
