Finally! My favorite, core dividend stocks are on sale, presenting a buying opportunity in my humble opinion (speaking to my personal situation). I’m excited to share 3 stocks I just added to my buy list for 2025 (and the remainder of 2024).

0:00 INTRODUCTION
1:32 Check out my Corner Patreon for my recent portfolio update (see pinned comment).
2:00 I’m a core dividend stock investor because I like to sleep well at night.
2:50 DIVIDEND STOCK (REIT) 1: REALTY INCOME (O) – My 9th largest position
3:14 I plan on adding O below $55 per share.
3:36 The AFFO PE-Equivalent is about 12.82, in value range.
3:52 5.93% starting dividend distribution yield (meaningful).
4:19 Monthly dividend income is huge, now that I’m using the dividends.
4:58 15,450 properties
5:26 One risk: 3.3% of their portfolio is comprised by Walgreens, a company facing challenges.
6:05 I look at O as an alternative to long-term Treasury bonds.
6:31 They can stay out of a lot of political drama, I believe.
6:59 DIVIDEND STOCK 2: JOHNSON & JOHNSON (JNJ) – My 2nd largest position
7:14 Forward PE in the 14s
7:20 Starting dividend yield of 3.41% is great for JNJ
7:59 JNJ is down due to the RFK Jr. risk, in my opinion.
8:48 DIVIDEND STOCK 3: PEPSICO (PEP) – My 5th largest position
9:27 I believe that value is out of favor. And, I believe PEP is down due to RFK Jr. risk.
10:06 Forward PE is 18.
10:13 Starting yield is 3.54%.
10:25 5-Year CAGR is 7.25% (which is huge).
11:21 I like buying core stocks that are on sale, with some obstacle in front of them (that I think they can overcome).
12:14 These days, buying opportunities may not last super long.
