The robbery happened around 1:14 p.m. at Education First Credit Union after a call of an ATM maintenance worker being robbed.
BEAUMONT, Texas — Three people have been arrested by Houston police officers after allegedly robbing an ATM maintenance worker.
On Tuesday, December 31, 2024 around 1:14 p.m., Beaumont police arrived at Education First Credit Union located at 4350 Laurel Avenue after a call of a robbery of an ATM maintenance worker.
After the robbery, BPD’s Special Assignment Unit in collaboration with Patrol and the Criminal Investigations Unit, got license plate information on the suspect vehicle.
They believed that the suspects were going to Houston, BPD alerted Houston PD and the three suspects were arrested a short time later near Houston.
They are being held at a Federal Detention Center and the FBI is taking over the investigation.
