That’s how long it is until the Fightin’ Illini football team is back in action for their season opener against Eastern Illinois. Today was the first practice of the summer open to the media.
Peoria City is now just five days from hosting the USL League Two National Championship in just the club’s third year of existence. They’ll take on the other semifinal winner, Seacoast United Phantoms, on Saturday Night at 7:30 at Shea Stadium.
