24 arrested, 5 more wanted for multiple charges in Crisp County [Video]

The release said the investigation, known as Operation Shyne Down, targeted the G-Shyne Blood Gang in Cordele. Following the investigation, they issued 120 warrants on the 24 people.

“This operation is the culmination of nine months of meticulous investigation, planning, and coordination…. While today’s success is a significant milestone, we recognize that our work is far from over,” Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock said in a statement. “To the families and residents of Crisp County: know that we remain steadfast in our mission to protect and serve.”

According to the release, those arrested, who were mostly from Cordele, were charged with conspiracy to sell marijuana and other charges connected to being in, or trying to join the G-Shyne Blood Gang.

There were two people arrested that were from Douglas and Valdosta.
