LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Two motorists were killed during a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in the Vermont Knolls community of South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Each vehicle had a single occupant described as a man, about 30 to 45 years old, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 5:03 a.m. to 959 W. Manchester Ave., where both vehicles had careened toward a building under construction.
There was little impact to the structure and both motorists were trapped within their vehicles, requiring extensive extrication. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no other immediate information available.
