Officers responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the 17000 block of Shaker Boulevard at around 3:32 a.m.
CLEVELAND — Two men were shot and killed in Shaker Heights in the early hours of Sunday morning, police said.
According to a press release from the Shaker Heights Police Department, officers responded to a report that multiple shots had been fired in the 17000 block of Shaker Boulevard at around 3:32 a.m. When police arrived, two “unidentified male victims” were found dead from gunshot wounds outside a residence, the department said.
Police later said the two men had attended a house party near the area.
Police said “several individuals attempting to leave the location” were detained at the scene, but did not specify whether any of the detained people are considered suspects in the shooting.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal INvestigation is assisting Shaker Heights police with the investigation. Police said detectives would remain at the location of the shooting “well into the day.”
