The right two lanes of I-90 West were blocked near East 200th Street on Thursday following the crash.
CLEVELAND — Two people are dead Thursday afternoon following a car crash on Interstate 90 in Euclid, police said.
According to a press release from the Euclid Police Department sent just before 2:45 p.m., the crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-90 near East 200th Street.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victims as 79-year-old Charles Pankratz and 59-year-old Patricia K. Pankratz of Cleveland.
On Thursday afternoon, the right two lanes on I-90 West were blocked. Drivers were advised to avoid the accident area until midnight and look for alternative routes as police investigated the crash.
