18th annual Serving it up with Love Tournament [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The 18th annual “Serve It Up With Love” tennis tournament continued today at the Mobile Tennis Center.

Proceeds from the two day event benefit the Child Advocacy Center, which provides services for abused children in our area.

This is the largest charity tennis tournament in the state with 650 players participating this year.

The Mobile Tennis Center is home to 60 courts and the event uses every single one.

So far, $104,000 dollars has been raised in sponsorship money, but there’s also a raffle with tons of prizes, so by the time they add up the raffle and entry fees, they will have raised a little over $130,000 for children in need.

Men, women, and junior tennis players have competed in the tournament. it all wrapped up this evening with ladies night.
