12th Annual Maine Harvest Festival attracts large crowds | News [Video]

BANGOR — Hundreds packed the Cross insurance Center this weekend for the return of the annual Maine Harvest Festival. 

“So this is the 12th annual harvest fest and it’s the first year that it’s free at the Cross Insurance Center,” said Director of Sales & Marketing for the Cross Insurance Center, Brad LaBree. 

The festival featured over 80 local vendors, craftsmen and artisans, while celebrating Maine’s rich agricultural heritage. 

 “We love this event this time of year, we like to say we’re celebrating the harvest and yeah we just love to bring all local people together,” said LaBree. 

The Maine Potato Board has been sponsoring the festival since its inception. Board members say the event is a great opportunity to highlight agricultural efforts throughout the state.
