11th annual Touch-a-Truck event returns to Downtown Flint | Community [Video]

The event in its 11th year was the perfect opportunity for kids to explore the trucks and interact with law enforcement in a safe, community-centric atmosphere.

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – The University of Michigan-Flint continued a more than a decade-long tradition Saturday. 

The University of Michigan Flint hosted its 11th annual Touch-a-Truck event the university’s Department of Public Safety turned the downtown campus into a hub of family fun and connection.

There were plenty of police cars and fire trucks from several different local agencies along with utility vehicles like tow trucks and cranes.

It was the perfect opportunity for kids to explore the trucks and interact with law enforcement in a safe, community-centric atmosphere.
