ATLANTA — 11Alive and the TEGNA Foundation, a charitable foundation sponsored by TEGNA Inc., awarded five nonprofits in the community with grants to support workforce development in metro Atlanta.
The five nonprofits receiving the funds are Cafe Momentum – Momentum Advisory Collective, CareerRise, Latin American Association, UNCF and the YMCA of Metro Atlanta.

Café Momentum – Momentum Advisory Collective
Café Momentum supports youth workforce development. With a model first built in Dallas, the restaurant and social enterprise provides a paid workforce development internship with services and care for justice-involved youth ages 15 through 19. The Atlanta restaurant opening is set for 2025 in Downtown.
