JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Ballad Health has partnered with Varian, a company that produces products for Oncologists. Together, they will execute a 10-year plan that will allow Ballad to upgrade software and technology to provide more care to cancer patients.
“We’ll see faster treatment services, we’ll also see again a continued standardization of those treatment services across any of those Ballad footprints again that we offer today,” said Brad Price, Senior Vice President for Ballad’s Region Operations Service Line Development. “It’ll really be consistent high service, high quality radiation treatment that will be able to offer it at any location that we have.”
Over the course of 10 years, Ballad said it will be upgrading technology and software, allowing faster care for patients. Through the partnership, doctors will be able to collect more data and information to help people possibly detect cancer at an earlier stage.
